“The case will now be transferred to Delhi district court, wheregospelhitz the prosecution will file an application to withdraw the rape charge against the accused,” the statement added.
After an initial examination, the Delhi High Court directed the Delhi Police to “bring to book the accused with the CCTV evidence and give him time and place to show it.”
“They have submitted the chargesheet on Tuesday and the Delhi High Court has directed them to bring a court of law case,” a source said.
