Worksafe warning over home lifts and the dangers of hanging people from their bikes

Home lifts are a safety risk when a person is in a wheelchair as they pose a danger of falling in the lift itself, even though they are not in a wheelchair.

“It is important to note that lift heights are affected by your weight,” it stated.

The agency advises that people who are in a wheelchair should use safety seats if possible.

In the meantime, the British Association of Wheelchair Users (BAWU) advised people to avoid home lifts and the dangers of hanging people from their bikes.

BAWU said that in its official statement, BAYU said home lifts in particular posed a “serious risk” to the public.

This was the first time this has been noted in a statement from the Home Office.

Home Secretary Amber Rudd told BBC Breakfast: “I am grateful to Mr Bissett for expressing his concern on the importance of safe lifts.

“This is why we have been working with councils, to establish whether lifts are still accessible.”

Bissett said: “I looked up and, of course, I could see a little hand reaching out over the railing so I didn’t see her.”

After a few moments of reflection, he asked the nurse – a female named Julie – if she was okay and she confirmed that she was.

“She said it was a 바카라사이트little painful in her lower half and that she was feeling really bad.

“She said she just felt quite weak and had no idea how bad it was.”

Bissett said he was in shock when he noticed a woman lying with “lids open” on one side of her wheelchair.

He said: “She had an open lip and the arm was hanging by her neck.

“I couldn’t get away from the chair and I thought that it was going to hurt me at first as it wasn’t at all.
