This week on Orphan Black, the boys and the girls keep the clone club creepy.
In case you missed it, Orphan Black has taken a dark turn this season. Season 1 was very much an introduction to some very disfunctional individuals who happen to have all come from the same test tube. Season 2 asked where these women and their test tube came from and why. Season 3 seems to be a full on search and seizure of the test tubes that bore even more crazy clones.
This week on Orphan Black, the search is still on as allegiances, real and relative, are tested. For her part, Helena is still pregnant and locked in a military compound with one of the man-clones. She feigns being even crazier than she is to be moved out of her cell and attempt escape. Sadly, for her sanity, the attempted escape leads her to find another prisoner who looks eerily like one of her captors. Sorry Helena, that’s right, you have brothers too.
Meanwhile back in random-city USA, errrr, Canada? – Cosima continues to get better through what boils down to medical clone-therapy. Over in random-country town USA, Sarah’s still trying to find Helena as she’s forced to save Castor-clone Mark after he’s shot or risk never finding her sister-clone.
You’ll recall the powerful Prolethians rolled through and are responsible for the bullet in Mark’s leg. They also rolled their favorite daughter Gracie back to their safe house. She hasn’t revealed her marriage to Mark, and something’s not quite right about her pregnancy. You know, beyond the fact that it’s actually Helena’s biological child.
Clone of the Week: This week goes to Allison, and here’s why. This Bitc- errr, woman, took over a high school kid’s drug dealings only to find he didn’t desert it to go to college after all and now she’s embroiled in a full-on business battle with a real live drug lord.
