Scandal’s Boys Will Be Boys, Bad Boys.
This week on a Scandal, Jake, Olivia and Fitz are joining forces against Rowan Pope. Olivia uses her father’s love to lure Papa Pope to come running. It’s a shame Papa Pope saw Olivia’s Boys coming.
Meanwhile, Elizabeth North, Portia de Rossi hires Pope & Associates to handle her issues with the Republicans in power in DC. But now Olivia’s playing both sides as she finds out Elizabeth is playing her own game of political extortion with the White House Chief of Staff, Cyrus Bean, and his call-boy (male call-girl?). Somehow, though, Michael hasn’t spilled Cy’s most damaging secrets.
In other news, the Vice President’s car is bombed, luckily he’s not in it. But he is in….ok well Mellie was passionately concerned for his well-being. Surprise, the Vice President is having an affair with both Mellie Grant and a Elizabeth North
Huck’s still hanging out with his son behind his mom’s back, that is until Lil’ Huck accidentally sees his dad kill someone, because he wasn’t at all scarred by missing him for several years.
Captain Ballard. Jake to my friends, Captain Ballard if you’re nasty (or just not his friend, Mr. President, sir). But no hard feelings.
The 70’s pop standard in this week’s episode of Scandal, Donna Summer’s Bad Girls, plays at the beginning of the episode instead of the end.
Boys. To Papa Pope Jake and Fitz aren’t even men.
Again, where is West Angola? A new country in Shondaland? Where Angola used to be?
Go Home and Put Your Daughter to Bed: The Cyrus Bean Story. Because we, yes you too, forgot he HAD a daughter.
Honorable Mention: Bellamy Young, Mellie, in a commercial for Thursday Night’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live is billed not as Scandal’s Bellamy Young, but as ‘TGIT’s’ Bellamy Young. Oh SHONDAland.
