March television closes out with some major finales. The Walking Dead wraps its fourth season, while Psych and How I Met Your Mother head off to the sunset. Here’s what else is on this week.

Wednesday, March 26

Psych ends its eight-season run on USA Wednesday. The network is keeping mum on what Shawn and Gus will be up to in their last case. The finale airs at 9pm. Following the credits, the Psych After Pshow will break down the finale.

Thursday, March 27

Christopher Meloni returns to broadcast TV in the new comedy Surviving Jack. Set in the 1990s, Meloni plays Jack Dunlevy, a workaholic who has to take a more active parenting role when his wife starts law school. The show starts at 9:30pm on Fox.

Over on CBS and TBS, March Madness continues with Sweet 16 action. Coverage on CBS starts at 7pm Eastern. Coverage on TBS begins at 7:30pm.

Saturday, March 29

Mark Wahlberg will host Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards. Find out what the kids are into and see if Marky Mark gets slimed like Katy Perry did a few years ago. The event begins at 8pm.

Sunday, March 30

Season 4 of The Walking Dead reaches its terminus. But what about the survivors? Watch the finale at 9pm. Be sure to catch Clare’s recap Monday morning.

Monday, March 31

After nine seasons, we will reach the end of Ted’s story of How I Met Your Mother. The finale is likely to ruffle some feathers, particularly if the theory that the mom dies comes to pass. Immediately following, Friends with Better Lives (which will take over the HIMYM timeslot) will premiere. The CBS comedies begin at 8pm.

MTV takes a behind-the-scenes look at culinary school in the new docu-series House of Food. The culinary wannabes will take part in challenges in the hopes of winning an apprenticeship. The series gets cooking at 10pm.

Tuesday, April 1

This is not a joke: The Mindy Project returns to Fox with back-to-back episodes. Despite the impromptu mid-season hiatus forced upon the sophomore comedy, the show has already been renewed for a third season. Catch the return at 9pm.

This is a joke: NatGeo has enlisted the RiffTrax crew (formerly of Mystery Science Theater 3000) for a Total Riff Off. Primetime will feature various special rebroadcasts, with the RiffTrax trio providing snarky commentary. The shows begin at 8pm.
