The Biggest Loser Season 15 villain finally reveals himself! Also, kittens.

As a personal trainer and avid reality television fan, I find The Biggest Loser to be one of the most compelling and frustrating shows on television. Every week I rank the most appalling situations, quotes, and people on a scale from mildly irresponsible to downright dangerous.

Mildly Irresponsible

Bob’s overdramatic body language and facial expressions in response to twists are infuriating. Even though he is saying nothing, you want to tell him to shut up.

Kitten in the barn! Yes, I know it isn’t irresponsible, but it was shockingly adorable and warrants a mention.

Moderately Irresponsible

These people often start sobbing at the drop of a hat. Starvation and exhaustion will do that to you.

Jay is way too excited about bringing Jillian home with him for the week. He is not considering his teammates very much, although perhaps the best thing that can happen is if the ladies left behind don’t lose much weight this week (since it won’t count). The Biggest Loser: a numbers game, and nothing more.

Severely Irresponsible

Bob seems to be on a personal mission to talk women into lifting weights…on his t-shirts. Personally I think women should lift weights if their doctors approve and under the supervision or training of a qualified professional.

Never ever do bent-over rows with your neck craned up. Neutral necks, people! Do you want to throw your back out? Why does Dolvett just stand by and watch this atrocity?

Criminally Irresponsible

Although she seems to have learned her lesson, Rachel gave up college swimming scholarships for a boy. I feel like she could have learned lessons from Bob’s bizarre feminist t-shirts back then.

Hap needs to stop bitching that Bobby is “not working as hard as” him, but losing more weight. Perhaps that’s because higher intensity isn’t always better, especially depending on your diet. Then to say that you’re relying on Bobby to save your team even though he “didn’t do much” is just jealous, asshole behavior. Go home, Hap. Just go home.

Jay and Bobby dropped 12 pounds each, so Dolvett’s team lost the weigh-in and Ruben was sent home again.  Hopefully he finds a way to make it happen there. I suspect he’s got some serious food addiction issues that caused him to cheat on his diet at the ranch. Nice guy, but not the Biggest Loser.
